Terrible service
Parcels missing and they take no accountability
I had a parcel delivery with flowers and wine. The drive insisted it was delivered to a house on the next street to me. The owner said it did not belong to him but the driver ignored him and left it anyway. Fortunately the gentleman was honest and brought it round to me. the box was damaged and water was spilling everywhere. The driver didn't seem to care which way up he handled the carton even though there were arrow on it to help him. I most certainly would NOT recommend Yodel to anyone.
Twice failed to deliver same order but lied they could get access
Stayed at home two days in a row as I was sent tracking information about the delivery. After deliver slot time had passed the tracking info stopped updating. Contacted online chat and first person cut me off citing data protection (which did not apply at all). Second person told me they had till 10pm to deliver and wasn’t interested when I said driver had now seemed to have left my area. Surprisingly the delivery did not happen. The worse part is the tracking information the next day showed an update that they could not get access to property, which was a blatant lie. The whole family were at home all day and night and we live on a normal street: no special gates or drawbridges to navigate. Terrible delivery company who t a jot about customer satisfaction
Disgraceful company
Yodel are a disgraceful courier company who do not care in the slightest for their customers and their parcels. Two times in a row, they have delivered my parcels with the contents smashed up. They then did exactly the same to a friend of mine a week later. They throw parcels around, with no care whatsoever for whether they’re damaging the items or not. Yodel also do not arrive during the time they state they will, and then expect you to stay in all day the following day. Argos has a contract with Yodel. As such, do not buy anything on Argos.com for delivery until they change their supplier. Amazon also use Yodel, but also use other companies, and so it’s a roll of the dice. A disgusting company that needs to go into administration.
How are Yodel still in business???
How are Yodel still in business??? Not really one to complain much. But this one got Tom me quite a bit. I ordered an Xbox series x for very which arrived at yodel’s Northampton depot Friday 18th December. Around 8:30am. It sat their for 4 days. During these 4 days of hell, I spent going back and fourth with their very unhelpful webchat team. Speaking to the 3/4 times a day each as unhelpful as the next. Might I add why does it take everyone of your webchat ‘employees’ 5 or so minutes to spew out such generic responses?? I’d literally give my shipping address. Wait 3 minutes. Just to be told... “thank you for confirming your shipping address. I’ll look into this for you. It’s ridiculous. This whole company is about as useful as a Nokia phone case. It’s impossible to speak to a real person. Not that it’s help anyways but I guess it’s better than the same robot monotonous replies the webchat give. I was told that their had been some sort of priority put on my parcel so the depot could update them. Something of the sort. My case was put under an ‘investigation’. I get an email back saying, a driver had been interviewed and that the outcome was that my parcel “WILL” be redelivered “today” (Monday 21st). Firstly, I had no update on any driver, as my parcel had never been out for delivery. Secondly, it can’t be “redelivered” if it was never delivered once already. Or no delivery had been attempted. Lies from top to bottom. Anyway, Tuesday 22nd December I was out out of my misery. The cherry on the cake. 8:19am my parcel was finally loaded onto a van in Northampton. Literally at 8:20 it’s loaded off. They’ve only gone and damaged my parcel that I’ve been trying to wrestle from them for the better part of a week. Now its getting sent back to Very for a refund. As the Xbox series x is nearly impossible to buy. Thanks Yodel
Undelivered parcel
My Son's parcel according to Yodel was delivered to our address on 4th December. My son received a nessage via his phone to say his parcel had been delivered. My son at this time was at work miles away from home so he messaged his sister who was at home to check it had been delivered. No one from Yodel attempted to deliver said item, no one rang the door bell and CCTV footage proves that no one attempted to deliver the parcel. My son obviously contacted Yodel to ask where is parcel was to be told it was delivered to our address and was signed by him!!! My son told them of the CCTV footage we have and forwarded this onto them for inspection. Nearly 2 weeks later and they are still insisting that my son received and signed for his parcel. No card was left by Yodel, no photo taken of parcel on doorstep and funny enough they can't produce evidence of signature. I am so angry about this!! This parcel was worth a lot of money. My son is now trying to get his money back but this is proving to be a nightmare every step of the way. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE UNHELPFUL, DON'T BELIEVE EVIDENCE PROVING THAT THE DELIVERY DIDN'T ARRIVE. Someone has committed fraud by signing my sons signature and then stolen his parcel.
Do not use this company,
Bunch of liars, said my item was delivered on 2 different dates and card put through door which makes no sense and never happened. Never received my goods, WHERE DO THESE ITEMS GO???????? Fighting to get my money back
Worst delivery service I have encountered
Your delivery drivers should be checked out I never received a parcel It was said I was. Not in it was supposedly delivered to my neighbor rubbish Iwas in my house all day The Yodel said the details did not match up So why did they say the parcel was delivered Also there was no card through my door. All lies I still have no parcel I received a refund from the seller. My rating nil So customers beware
